REMNANT is the first book in the Exogenesis series, blending science fiction, survival adventure, and mystery. Scheduled for release in Fall 2027, it follows ordinary people caught in an extraordinary conflict... and the impossible choices that follow.
First contact with the triarch changed everything: three alien races, bound together in a triumvirate and fleeing some calamity in their own star system. The triarch offered humanity technology in exchange for a soft place to land, and people were too dazzled by what they could gain to wonder what it might cost.
Then the triarch waged war. Forty-five years of it. And a hundred and twenty years later, humanity was still paying for it.
Earth has fallen to alien rule.
Brígh Rowan has spent most of her life surviving the Remnant Sector, a massive open-air prison where humanity's unwanted are left to fend for themselves. She knows the dangers of living in such a hostile place, the predators that hunt it, and the wardens who watch from beyond its walls. She knows better than to draw attention to herself or her abilities.
Then something falls from the sky and all the rules change.
A warglaive pilot named Derick crashes into the forest, bringing the wardens down on the entire Sector. He should have died. Instead, he survived. When he saves Brígh's life, he inadvertently strands them deep in the Sector—and puts a target on her back.
Together, they search for his missing teammate. But the deeper they venture into the Sector, the more Brígh begins to question everything she knows about the prison she calls home.
Some secrets were never meant to escape.
Surviving was easy. You learned what not to touch, where not to go, when to run. Living was harder. Living meant wanting something you couldn't guarantee you'd keep.
Raised inside the Remnant Sector, Brígh has spent her life learning how to survive. She's stubborn to a fault, endlessly curious, and prone to acting before thinking things through. And the secrets she keeps may end up getting her into more trouble than she can handle.
This wasn't a chase. It was a hunt. They wanted them breathing. What happened afterward was another matter.
Dead rebels made martyrs. Living ones answered questions. Derick knew that much.
While Brígh and Derick are at the heart of the story, they're far from the only characters with a role to play. Stay tuned for more about Lucas and Kirev, and their journey of overcoming prejudice, hatred, and a world that has already decided who they are.
The goal of this campaign is to fund the final steps needed to publish REMNANT in ebook, paperback, and hardcovers editions. The initial funding goal covers the essential publishing costs like ISBNs, and any funding beyond that will go directly toward making the finished book it's absolute best.
