  Pride Newsletter

The 1969 Stonewall Riots weren’t the first time that LGBTQ+ people stood up against police harassment, but it led to the creation of what we know as Pride today. Following the riots, community organizers wanted to build on the spirit of resistance and organized a “Gay Pride” march. That march soon expanded until Pride became the widespread celebration it is today.

Doki Rosi, a Brazilian illustrator from Rio de Janeiro, with a passion for botanical illustration had the idea to combine the two as she noticed that certain flowers naturally had similar colors to some pride flags. The studio presents a new collection of enamel pins inspired by the pride flags represented as beautiful flowers!
