Juneteenth is a holiday observed on June 19th to commemorate the end of slavery in the United States. It’s a time to celebrate Black history, culture, and the contributions made by Black Americans. As members of the crowdfunding community, one great way to participate is by supporting Black-led projects, like the ones listed below.

In this bimonthly newsletter, we are highlighting Black creators and their projects. We, as BackerKit, stand in solidarity with the Black Lives Matter movement. Read our statement here. Know of a project that should be featured? Share it with us!
