WE DID IT! We passed $20,000 in funding and unlocked the final pin! All pin designs are now unlocked!

I wanted to share 3 quick updates as we count down the final hours until 1pm PT/4pm ET today!

At 3:15pm ET I'm going live on the campaign page and YouTube to count down the final minutes! I'll be answering chat questions and performing some of my original geek comedy songs, including a new tune only a few patrons have heard.

I hope you'll join me for an hour as we celebrate the successful funding of the campaign!

If you're adding books to your pledge, please note that I'll be signing and either doing quick sketches or inscriptions in all books with one exception: The Story Engine Anthologies being shipped to backers in the UK or EU will likely not be signed/sketched.

You can add-on books via the add-ons section. Unfortunately, I won't have the opportunity to personalize the sketches or inscriptions, but every book will get one (with the exception above)!

I've added a few more dice towers designs to the add-ons. If you haven't seen them before, I partnered with a small game accessories laser cutter in Ottawa to design some original collapsible dice towers. They're very handy and a lot of fun!

I'm over the moon! We finished fully funded with all stretch goals unlocked thanks to 387 backers raising just over $23,000!

And Pintopia as a whole brought together 23,130 backers to raise $973,175!

Thank you to everyone who pledged, shared a link, dropped in on a livestream, or collaborated! I'm grateful to all the people who made this amazing initiative happen.

There will be more updates in the coming weeks as we open the pledge manager so you can choose your pins, confirm your add-ons, and provide your shipping details! And I'll be working on getting all 25+ pins into production.

Hello backers!

Whoo, what a whirlwind of a campaign it's been!

We're heading into the final 24 hours and we've unlocked all but the FINAL stretch goal: the Nat 1 Smackdown pin (by special guest Shen)!

I'm especially excited to unlock this design because Shen designed the shape to pair with the little 1 HP "Still Good" guy! In fact, all 3 of his pins tell a little story of a guy who calculated that he was going to get hit, and then did!

I would love to unlock this design before the campaign wraps up so we can produce all 25 designs!

There are a few things you can do help us get there:

It's a great way to pick up all the holiday gifts you'll ever need for your gaming group for a great price!

By the way, I just realized that there was a pricing error on the 3 pin add-on, which was was supposed to be priced at $45 like the 3-pin pledge level. That's now been updated!

Lastly, I wanted to share a few D&D-themed comics I worked on with my frequent webcomic collaborator Aaron Lenk! Back in 2021 we sketched out some ideas for a comic about dice playing D&D in their spare time, and I thought I'd share a few of the test strips we worked on!

I've been browsing through Pintopia and discovering so many lovely projects, and I found these pins to be both UTTERLY DELIGHTFUL and also OF INTEREST TO TTRPG FANS! The designs are by Bee Ho of Weird Works, a tabletop games and accessories company based in Seattle and LA.

Please go check out their project! The Goblin Mode pin is especially wonderful because it has a built-in slider.

Wow, thank you for an absolutely incredible first day on this project!

It's been 7 years since I launched an illustration-based project, and some of these pins have existed in notebooks for 5+ years, so it's been both a long time coming and incredible rush to share these designs with you all and see the response!

Speaking of which: we fully funded and smashed through 9 stretch goals!

And we're well on our way to the next stretch goal: unlocking a 2nd pin design by Shen at $10,000! The little 1 HP "Still Good" guy is such a delightful little hero to root for.

There are still over 24 hours for new backers to claim the early bird mimic pin, so if you know anyone who likes D&D humor, please consider sharing the campaign with them. I'd love to see this project continue to grow and for new designs to get unlocked over the next 3 weeks.
