Titan Effect is not your typical espionage RPG as you don’t only fight against secret organizations, terrorists or criminal empire, but you also must deal with psychic agents, hybrid creatures and a lot of other paranormal and Sci-Fi stuff. The action takes place in a fictionalized version of our world in 2016 where a secret war has been raging for decades, if not centuries. In a similar fashion as in the World of Darkness (Vampire: The Masquerade, Werewolf: The Apocalypse, Mage: The Ascension, etc.), regular folk aren’t aware of what is really happening, while the secret war's actors (including the players) do their best to keep the secrecy about their activities and what really is going on. In some ways, players fight for a world that doesn't know they exist and if it did, it would probably fear reject them.

Yet, psychic spies, bio-augmented soldiers, evil corporations and organizations won’t be your only problem in Titan Effect Zero. Many other dangers and secrets await you, including psychic ghosts and vampires, failed genetic experiments, and things even stranger.
