I was feeling a little green in the gills on Friday so IOU an update and poll and since Friday is an American Federal Holiday I figured we’d just roll up all of this week’s updates into one big swine ball of info!
Surveys, surveys, surveys!
We currently have just under 70% of surveys filled, which is awesome! As a reminder we’re going to be closing surveys on July 10th, and if your survey isn’t completed by then it’s going to be a rigamarole to finish it. So save yourself the hassle and ensure you complete your survey before the deadline!
If you are a Pay Over Time backer, you won’t receive your survey until after your final payment. So no need to worry about this deadline if you’re in that camp!
The Road Ahead
From July 10th onward (until about mid-August) we’re diving into our summer con circuit. Next weekend we’ll be at LitRPG Con in Denver (come say hi if you’re there!) and then we’re headed to Gen Con! We’ll be doing our best to check in and fulfill requests that come into the support email, but please expect some longer than usual wait times as we work through this busy, busy period!
When will we have finalized shipping prices?
In case you missed it during the campaign, we did get shipping estimates up! These estimates should be very close to the final shipping numbers. Assuming the world’s structures don’t get flattened before then, of course! Puts a bit of a wrench in the postal system when that happens… If your shipping zone isn’t listed it’s because we’re still waiting on estimates from our shipping partners. We are doing our best to get this information for you and will keep you updated as we receive quotes!
What happens if I’m not a Pay Over Time backer and I don’t get my survey done before July 10th?
July 10th is when we plan on charging cards for tax, VAT, and any extra add-ons you’ve added. If you can’t get your survey completed before this survey lock deadline, the survey will automatically lock and you won’t be able to access it to make pledge changes or add any more add-ons.
If you need to make changes after that date, you’d need to send an email to us at [email protected] so we can manually unlock your survey, which could potentially delay your pledge fulfillment.
What if I’m a Pay Over Time backer?
If you’re a Pay Over Time backer you will receive your survey after your final payment. For most backers it should be on or around August 18th. We’ll be keeping an eye out for your surveys and prioritizing those so we can also get them fulfilled ASAP.
When will I be charged for shipping?
Shipping is still on track to be charged in September or early October. It’ll be charged to the card that you have attached to your pledge/Backerkit account. We’ll send out an update warning everyone beforehand and that will also be the final chance to lock/change addresses.
When are digital files coming?
Digital files will be out in chunks as we get things finished! We’re aiming to release the digital Starter Set and Core Rule Book in August, and then we’ll establish a schedule for the Season Pass drops and the bonus things you’ve all voted for via our Backer polls here. 🎉

Instead of a horn, this rhino—the size of a pick-up truck—grew a snake from its nose. Unfortunately for it, the snake never stopped growing, and now it determines where they go.
This creature is dangerous at both ends and wily in the middle. It coils and wraps its massive body around everything it touches before swallowing it whole. If the snake head doesn’t get you, don’t worry… The rhino attached to it is starved enough to forsake its mostly vegetarian ways and rip you to shreds too.
Bullion Cube
Have you ever had a meal so tasty you just can’t forget it? Well, sometimes an ooze dissolves something it just can’t let go of. This one ate a bull a long time ago and now pilots its skeleton by wrapping its ooey-gooey body around the remaining bits of bone.
Acidic to the touch, resistant to magic, and filled with all-natural, delicious beef flavor, this ooze isn’t sure you’ll make it forget that magical meal, but it’s certainly willing to try.
Smiling Void
The infinite, dark emptiness of space is overwhelming to the human mind, so we added a smiley mouth to the void to make it friendlier! The smile has developed a concerning number of teeth as it expanded, but, well, a mouth’s got to open and close, right?
