What's Inside the CarlRPG Starter Set Box? 

• Book 1 - Rules for Survival (52 pages) walks you through what an RPG is and the basics of play. This includes how dice, stats, skills, combat, and other core mechanics work. This will give new roleplayers all the info they need to hop into baby’s first RPG!

• Book 2 - Characters & Customization (44 pages) covers how to make a character from scratch, assigning skills, and how to advance your crawler and level up as you move through the dungeon. Inside, you’ll find details on creating your own skills and how to customize your character to be exactly as you please. This includes their life path (choosing starting skills from your childhood, adolescence, career, and hobbies), and further customizing your character's roleplay and history with Past Trauma, Loose Ends, and Regrets that your crawlers carry with them into the dungeon

  

• Book 3 - Game Master’s Campaign Toolkit (148 pages) houses all the info on starting a campaign, how to guide players through the first two floors of the dungeon, and details on mobs, bosses, and threats. This book is a biggie, so it has a fancy squarebound finish! 

• Book 4 - Atlas: Tutorial Floors (32 pages) goes into detail about the first and second floors. This is where you’ll find information about the crawler interface & inventory, locations and quests, popularity, the System AI, achievements & loot boxes, and your favorite notable crawlers.

 

• Book 5 - Par for the Course (24 pages) is an introductory scenario where players take on the roles of Carl, Donut, Brandon, Chris, Yolanda, or Imani as they rush to lead the elderly residents of team Meadow Lark to safety on the Second Floor of the dungeon.

• 12 Pre-Generated Character Sheets contain all the characters for the Par for the Course adventure. There are six different characters with sheets for each character at their first and second floor levels. • 12 Blank Character Sheets for creating your own crawler!
