Jeff Hays is performing a full audio read of the 350+ page Dungeon Crawler Carl Roleplaying Game Core Rulebook.

Whether you want to learn the game on the go, prep sessions hands-free, or just hear the game come alive in Jeff’s voice – this is a whole new way to experience the RPG.

Anticipated release: Summer 2027

The 54-page “Archie” short story (written by Ben Wolf) that comes included in the Crawler Chaos expansion for Unstoppable is going to be brought to life in the voice of Jeff Hays!

Jeff will perform a full audio read of the story, created exclusively for this campaign. You won’t find the audio version anywhere else.

The written short story will still be included in retail copies of the Crawler Chaos expansion, but if you want to experience the audio version performed by Jeff, this will be the only place to get it!

Anticipated release: Fall 2026

What is a soundboard?: A soundboard for tabletop roleplaying games is an online tool that lets you play sound effects, music, and character voice clips during a game to enhance immersion. With a single click, you can trigger things like monster roars, ambient dungeon noise, or NPC dialogue to bring scenes to life.

How do I get access to these rewards?: As long as you’ve backed the campaign, you’re all set! We will issue redemption keys via the pledge manager when each item releases. 

When will these be available?: Jeff’s team at Soundbooth Theater is working on these, and the current release timing they’re anticipating is Summer 2027 for the Core Rulebook read and Soundboard, and Fall 2026 for the Archie short story read.

What if I can’t back the campaign?: The Dungeon Crawler Carl RPG Core Rulebook audio read and soundboard will both be available for purchase on Soundbooth Theater website when it becomes available next year. However, the Archie short story read is 100% campaign exclusive and will only be available to those who backed the campaign.
