Project Update: Shipping nearly complete & Aluminum Body upgrade opportunity

It's been a long journey, and we appreciate your patience along the way. What began in December is now nearly complete, thanks to your support. Our original goal was to deliver all SpectraTone Red mouthpieces by the first week in April. We've now delivered 96% of all orders from backers who completed their surveys. Eight people have not returned a survey, which means we will choose your body variation and set it aside for you, but we cannot ship without your address and rim selection.

That leaves another few backers waiting on rim sizes that are currently at plating. To our surprise, we had an unusually high number of orders for 660 and 614 diameter rims, which had been made in December, but not all were plated. Those should be back in our shop in approximately 10 days or less. If you are waiting on an order for a 614H rim and would like to switch to a different 614 variation to get quicker shipping, please contact us at 303.657.2747.

Save $250 on Titanium and $175 on Stainless Steel SpectraTone Red, Yellow, or Blue mouthpieces

I have two Titanium mouthpiece bodies remaining, which I will offer to our backers in the form of a complete SpectraTone Red, Yellow, or Blue mouthpiece for $350. If you want one in Stainless Steel, the price is $325. Email me by Wednesday (or order with link below) before they are gone forever. Oh yeah, did I mention all SS and Ti body styles will be retired once inventory is sold out. This is due to the complex production process that is too costly in smaller batches. I made approximately 15% more bodies in SS and Ti than were originally ordered through Backerkit. You can see remaining inventory here.

Laser Sintered ALUMINUM Body

And finally, I want to announce the debut of standalone LSLT (Laser Sintered Lattice Topology) Mouthpiece Bodies in ALUMINUM. I will be offering these to all SpectraTone/5MM mouthpiece owners for HALF PRICE next week. Again, once these are sold out, they will not be offered again. Your next opportunity for a LSLT solution will come with SpectraTone Green in Autumn.

Thanks again for your amazing support, feedback, and musicianship!

I was wondering if you could tell the name of the monospace font you guys used on the purple images here? I thought it so cute, and the italics are even cuter? (I'm 100% sure you said it somewhere, but I just can't find it!) Also, congrats on the campaign, I am so excited to see what's next!!

Project Update: One more unlock! Let's demystify Terminal!

You did it!

Thanks to your incredible support, we can finally do something we've wanted to do for a long time: write a gentle, beginner-friendly introduction to the command line. This will require research to create a thoughtful lesson plan, but we're excited to face this challenge and get to work!

Stretch Goal #4 We've had one article, yes, but what about second article? With our overview of NPM already unlocked, it's time to focus our efforts on another barrier to web development proficiency: not knowing the Terminal. This stretch goal will help us teach people enough to wield its powers...or at least not fear Him as much. Unlocked! Catching up with Terminal

We have one last stretch goal to go: writing an article distilling some of the incredible advice from the book "Crucial Confrontations".

One of the most important takeaways from the book is that "behind the problems that routinely plague organizations and families, [are] individuals who are either unwilling or unable to deal with failed promises". In our experience, how to firmly (but kindly) discuss and resolve issues that arise while working collaboratively is a vital skill that would benefit our community. We all agree good communication is important, but we often don't know where to start when expectations are missed and conflicts occur. And how could we? No one has taught us!

Stretch Goal #5 With two technical articles already under our belt, it’s time to try something... different. We all know that when working with others, soft skills are as important as hard ones–and yet we so rarely teach them. This last article and stretch goal will cover a fundamental skill our community could benefit from learning: how to firmly (but kindly) confront each other when issues arise. Crucial Confrontations

Let's hit this last stretch goal, and add some soft skills to the FujoCoded LLC curriculum!

Project Update: WE DID IT! All stretch goals unlocked!!

With 4 hours to go, we've officially met all our stretch goals! There's no words to express how grateful we are (though you'll hear us say it over and over).

Unlocked! Crucial Confrontations

We hadn't prepared any further goal, but… here's our final challenge to you all:
Stretch Goal ∞ – Over 9000! We’ve hit all our stretch goals, so here’s a final impromptu treat for you all: if we hit $9,000–that is, 300% funded–we’ll commission ONE FINAL COMMEMORATIVE STICKER featuring Boba-tan and the “over 9,000” meme and gift it for free to all our backers with physical rewards. Why? Because doing funny, absurd, “meme-y” things is what our internet is all about. It’s over $9,000!
While we had stretch goals and rewards, this campaign is primarily to cover ongoing company expenses. Anything we raise above our target will go to our mission: building a kinder, more diverse, more collaborative—and unapologetically weirder—internet.

There's still plenty of time to get there, so once again: help us by sharing our campaign with your fandom friends, favorite Discord servers, coding communities, and anywhere people who want to build a better internet congregate.

With an incredible amount of gratitude,
The FujoCoded LLC team

Goal: $8,000 reached! — We did it! This project reached this goal!
