Like last year, this was a very difficult decision to make. Any of the pieces would have made for excellent covers. Which speaks to the talent and dedication of everyone involved with this project. Truly, we're humbled. And for all the support you've given us, it's the least we can do.
More news to come, especially as printing begins! We're in the last week of crowdfunding, and it is an exciting time indeed.

According to our correspondence with our fulfillment partners at White Squirrel, it sounds like we almost have fulfillment entirely wrapped up, save for some INTL orders and specialty stateside orders (as well as some possible resends: if you're a stateside backer of the EARLY SUMMONINGs tier, please check your email for a head's up on your books)! Regarding our Canadian backers and the most-recent postal worker strike: after correspondence with White Squirrel (and their own communications with postal representatives), they've been advised to continue shipping as normal; your book won't be refused entry into the system, but it will probably take a little extra time to head your way. If you fall under the Canadian postal strike and haven't received your parcel yet or want to know the status of your package (or have any other shipping-related questions), please email [email protected] with your backer number/Backerkit-associated email.

I bring you exciting news: our first stretch goal! Introducing two brand-new pins, featuring characters from each calendar. It is our pleasure to unveil Amy Amour and Jaden the Bard!

This stretch goal unlocks at $33,095 funded!
Why so specific, you ask? Well... that's the total amount raised during our 2024 calendar project! Let it never be said that Heartleaf doesn't have fun with this.
Reaching our goal will make these vibrant, 2-inch pins available as add-ons for anyone to purchase. And for those who pledge at the highest tier, you will get one pin of your choice for free! That's right, you don't need to do any more than you already have. This is our thanks to you!
But that's not all! Jaden and Amy are joined by the Gambling God, Varasta, who made an appearance in last year's calendar. The Beast World's roaming deity invited himself along for the ride.

Each of these pins are lovingly illustrated by Waker and will be produced by our go-to pin manufacturer, who have brought you our logo pins and the Dungeoneer pin. Individually, each pin will retail for $15 USD. We'll also include a discounted rate for getting the Possum-Sheep-Fox trio together!

The physical pins will capture every color and detail!
Each pin is lovingly illustrated by Waker; we’ve already made a batch of the Varasta pins, and they deliver.
How much do they cost?
You can get any individual pin for $12 for a limited time only — or you can get the whole trio for just $30!
And for backers at the highest tier, you get one pin of your choice for free! That counts for both the “Good Gracious” tier and the limited “100 for 100” tier, so don’t worry if you got in early. You’ll get to make your choice in the pledge manager after the campaign ends! This is true for anyone who upgrades their pledge, too.

For this update, I want to show you this nearly final piece from the ineffable Kirena-Kaya. There are a few adjustments to come, but I simply cannot wait to give the broader view. You've already seen her work on the feminine calendar on the main project page, and Kirena-Kaya delivers just as hard in the masculine calendar. A double feature!
Later this week, we'll dive into some of the absurdly meticulous detail in these pieces.
Bubble armor is a delver's best friend in the Broken World.
This is a sexy pinup calendar, yes, but it really is an opportunity to dig deeper into the Beast World as a setting. Each of the two calendars features a Broken World piece, for example. These are big, important parts of the book, and it brings us great joy to show them off in new and interesting ways.
We ask a lot from our artists, and without fail, they deliver.

If there are further years of this, I would suggest pushing the schedule up a bit more. Not only would we typically want calendars in-hand to begin the new year, but these could make good Christmas gifts in some cases if they are received with enough time to then turn around and get them to friends.

It still has no properly set in yet that this whole thing is - essentially - over for me. Five years of work, of which the last one was extremely pushing, being over like that feels surreal to me, but also like a stone that dropped off my heart. A big thanks to everyone who has shown me pictures of their received books or told me about them arriving, it's a buckwild feeling that genuinely just fills me with joy.
