So far so good! The surveys are out, and we're getting them in pretty quickly!
Just a few things to note, you'll find a few new items in the Add-on/Pre-Order section:
This pin is a new variant that I had designed as a backup, and I thought it would be nice to include it just in case anyone who was not eligible for the collab freebie, really wanted one. Just note that this is a totally separate pin, that has to be unlocked, and it cannot be exchanged for the freebie style.

You have until May19th to get your surveys or orders in. I'll be ordering in the next day or two after, and I would LOVE for you to be counted and not have to work with what's left over after all the other backers who completed their surveys are helped.
I know most of you probably supported some more amazing Pintopia Creators and have been getting surveys left and right! However, since my campaign offered custom dragons, mine will be coming out a little later. Not only do I need to work with everyone, but I also have to put this monster of a collection together in a survey format. Ideally, My goal for surveys has been pushed back a little to mid-may, or possibly late May. I am aiming for custom dragons to be done by May 10th, surveys completed on my end by May 13th, smoke tests coming back around May 15th, and everyone getting surveys by May 17th.
In addition, I made some logistical decisions, Once this campaign is done, I was stumped about how to best sell and host the remaining dragons. So the remaining dragons will be put into 4 series of mystery bling bags! Each contains one of 9 dragons with varying rarities. But I know what you're thinking, we only have 23 dragons, and 10 Hoard of Hoard members, we're missing dragons...
That's right! The answer is more dragons. This campaign pushed above and beyond what I could have hoped for, and that means I had extra funds left over. Since I got the funds from Pintopia, I wanted to make sure they stayed in the spirit of Pintopia. So- we will have a total of 36 dragons! 23 Whom you've all met, 10 that are made by the our Hoard of Hoards members, and 3 more designed by me! That's a lot of dragons, and of course, they all come with matching mini-pins.

Hi everyone! So small update as I get around to replying to all your comments and answering things now that I can see! 😂
I received a great quote for the designs from my manufacturer which means we have plenty of more cuties funded I will add them to the preorder store and a bunch more things featuring the kitties. Currently I’m going through all your suggestions and I’m thinking of creating at least stickers of the designs and some pins and my plan for those is if you suggested it you get the item for free c:
Still figuring out all of backerkits settings, it’s way more involved than kickstarters interface so please bare with me I hope to have smoke screens out soon but figuring out shipping has made my brain hurt a bit, not that the migraine helped haha
Late last week my iPad decided it had enough with life and did it’d best to leave and of course it hadn’t run any file backups so here I am running to save everything at 15% battery, I was expecting to get a new one soon but this expedited the situation and typically after I purchased it’s replacement my iPad has decided to charge again, which is good news as I can move everything and continue with drawing the remaining pins. Plus an allergic reaction that lead me to have super puffy eyelids!
It really has been an insane week so apologies I’m here again with only sketches but what do you guys think? i really like the idea of the gem “honey” drop but I’m worried it could look tacky 🤔

Soooo, I understand that picking a design for the free backer-train pin has been one of the toughest choices yet! I just want to say again how much I've enjoyed sketching out all of your guys' ideas, and I've been really torn myself on which pin concept to move forward with. 😅 You all have some of the BEST ideas, and I eventually want to just make all of them haha. For now though, we've gotta narrow it down to one. As per some requests, I'm opening a Second Round Poll of the top choices from the last post!

Speaking of polls, thanks to everyone who voted on the Wizard Shroomie sticker poll, our sticker sheet is now updated to feature the BLUE Wizard Shroomie! I hope this is a fun treat for everyone who wanted to see this colorway come to life. Think of it like this little fungi used its mushie magic to shift colors between pin and sticker form! 😆
You should now see this updated sticker sheet art in the reward surveys and pre-order store, so rest assured, if you purchased this add-on, it will be the new version :)👍
Production Progress:
I've got all the 26+ Shroomie pin files prepped for manufacturing, and my factory partner is ready to go! The only pins that are left to finalize are the freebie backer pin and the custom pledge tier pin that an awesome backer ordered. Once more of the surveys are complete and I can get a more final count of how many of each design I need to order, the pin manufacturing will begin :) So excited to start bringing our new fungi friends to life!
Surveys are being sent today, but may take some time for all of them to be sent. Please check your email throughout the day for a survey email from BackerKit.
Lockdown and Charge Dates
This campaign will have two lockdown/charge dates. The first lockdown date is May 9th, and the second lockdown date is May 17th. There is no difference between the lockdown dates, an early lockdown just allows us to get funds quicker and order pins sooner. If you aren't sure about your design choices, don't complete your survey before the 9th, you can always wait to complete and submit it on or before the 17th.
Once surveys are locked down your card will be charged for shipping fees and any add-ons. If for any reason you cannot finish your survey and make your payment by the 18th, no worries. We understand that sometimes life gets in the way, or you might be waiting for a payday, or you need more time to decide. The deadline to guarantee you receive your design choices is May 30th. If you aren't ready by the 30th, simply don't complete the last step of the survey. The last step of the survey is the confirmation page where you can review all your details and enter in your card details for shipping costs, if you're not ready to submit, just exit the page and you can go back to it later.
After May 30th you will still be able to complete and submit your survey, but we may not be able to guarantee that you receive all your design choices. If we run out of one of your chosen designs while packing orders, we will reach out to you to choose a new design. It's very rare that this happens as we usually order more than extra of each pin. It's better to get your survey done sooner, and before the 30th.
Pledge charged failed
If your original pledge charge failed, or you cancelled it thinking it was fraud, you will still receive a survey. The survey will allow you to make up this failed charge, so you can still receive your rewards.
Add-Ons
The purpose of the add-on section is to add extra items you may want shipped with your pledge. Add-ons are entirely optional, if you do not want extra items, please skip this step. Please note that any items added from this add-on section will ship with your pledge level, and not before.
You'll notice that as backers you receive a discounted price on most pin add-ons.
Free Standard Bookmark
Each backer receives one free 2x6 standard bookmark. That bookmark is called the Read More Books Foil Bookmark, and it will automatically be added to your order. You will see a listing for this bookmark in the add-ons section. That listing is only if you want to order extras of this bookmark.
Stretch Goal Add-ons
You will see a few pin designs, stickers, and other items set as stretch goal add-ons. This just means that there is a minimum number of orders we need to meet to manufacturer that item. Some of the stretch goal add-ons were designs that didn't fit with the campaign, or they were too specific, or I just thought of the design after the campaign ended. If we reach the stretch goal quantity you will be charged for that item and it will be included in your order. If we do not reach a stretch goal for a specific item, we first determine whether we can manufacture it anyway, and if we cannot the item is removed from your order and you are not charged for it.
Changing shipping address
You will be able to change your shipping address up until the lockdown. After the lock down date, if you need to update your shipping address, please email [email protected], and we can manually update your shipping address. Please let us know as soon as possible that you need to update your address so we can amend the address before your package is sent. If you fail to notify us of an address change, and your package is returned to us, we will ship it again, however, you will have to pay another shipping charge.
We will post an update for last call address changes before we start shipping packages.
Pre-Order Store
There is a pre-order store for this campaign. The purpose of the pre-order store is to allow anyone who did not pledge to the campaign a chance to order these pins. You can access the pre-order store with this link.
Please note that the pre-order store is separate from your survey. All items in the pre-order store are in the add-ons section of your survey. On occasion backers have confused the pre-order store with their survey and placed a second order by accident.

We do have a few weeks to fill these out so please feel free to take your time or adjust your pledges as needed. If you didn't get an email regarding your survey, you should be able to see it when you log in to backerkit.

Preorder Store
In case you missed the crowdfunding project or if you have friends who missed out on it, I have opened my preorder store! This store will be open all month long.
All the items in the store are the same price as the crowdfunding so you still can grab items at a discount. Please note that these prices are temporary - once all my items are in hand they will be sold at regular retail price. Its a good chance to jump at a deal when you can get it!
Once I get to around 90% completed I will start putting orders in, I anticipate this happening at the end of the month. This is the part we all dread - the wait for production. I'm still waiting on my sample orders but the silence right now is due to factories being closed for a Chinese holiday but I hope my next update will be to show off some pretty finished sample pins~
I have a couple things to go over- Backer surveys, Goldy, and a note for the Random Pin tier.
First-
Backer Surveys + Preorder Store
Backer surveys have been finished, and the waiting period for payment processing has ended- So we're ready to move on to surveys! My survey is being reviewed by the backerkit team, and will be ready to send to all of you sometime during this coming week.
For anyone out there who is following this project but not a backer, or who found out about this after the campaign had already ended- There will be a preorder store that will open at the same time as surveys being sent out. So you'll still be able to grab a pin if you want one!
Next-
Goldy
Also, fun news, I made another Mushroom Sprite! Goldy is based off the gold trumpet mushroom! Their cheerful personality is just as golden as their appearance!
Goldy will be available when filling out surveys as an option for pins, keychains, and stickers. They can be added to your order, but they are also an option to choose when deciding on which pins/stickers/keychains you already ordered. That's a mouthful, but a simple example is: If you ordered a pin during the campaign, you can pick Goldy as your pin.
Last thing to mention-
A note for the Random Pin Tier
I wanted to make sure you knew which pins you might get when pledging for the random pin tier. You may get the following: Drippy mushroom sprite Tasty mushroom sprite Amini mushroom sprite Champ mushroom sprite
Kittyshroom wasn't included since a lot of you are getting that one for free, and it'd be a bummer to buy one pin and have it be a duplicate. As for Lilac & Bonnet and Goldy; I didn't want you to be getting pins that you may not have wanted as they weren't introduced yet. But I'll be basically rolling dice for each freebie pin.
So when filling out your survey, you can choose whether or not these three pins will be options for your random pin.
